Door had stopped pulling square at the top and heat poured out past the handle. Hinge springs were slack after twelve years. Two springs, a fresh gasket, and it shuts with a proper thump.

Both left zones cut out together under a full stockpot. Airflow behind the cabinet was blocked, so the inverter overheated and protected itself. He opened the path, then put the pot back on to prove it.
